Pongal Celebrations - January 21, 2026
The Department of Architecture, NITT celebrated Pongal with a series of activities that reflected the spirit of the harvest festival and encouraged community participation. The event began with the traditional preparation and distribution of pongal, followed by informal events such as uriyadi. Students participated actively bringing energy and laughter to the gathering. The celebration provided an opportunity for students and faculty to come together outside the classroom, appreciate cultural traditions, and strengthen the sense of community within the department.
