Biography

Having eight and half years’ experience in Thermal Power Station operation and maintenance of 210MW, various design changes in the Oil firing and coal firing system had been done to overcome the operation difficulties in Thermal power Station. Modification of Pressure reducing and Distribution System had been done and successfully operated in the Power Station.

Around 25 years’ experience in Boiler Directorate Department controlled by the Public Works Department in the Tamil Nadu State Government. During the period, various types of boilers’ design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance, commissioning, erection, and inspection of one ton steam producing generators to 1850 ton steam producing boilers were analyzed and implemented with the help of M/s BHEL, Tiruchirappalli. More than 5000 boilers were inspected in all the industries of Tamil Nadu. Retrofit work and design modification works were carried out. I had participated as a member in the accident and pollution committee formed by the State Government.

  • Two years as Production and Material Planning Engineer at M/s Greaves Chitram Pvt. Limited., Chennai, India, Jan 1984 – Jan 1986.
  • Nine years as Assistant Engineer in Boiler Maintenance at Mettur Thermal Power Station, Metturdam, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, Jan 1986 – Sep 1994.
  • Twenty five years as Boiler Inspector in various post in Directorate of Boilers, Public Works Department, Tamil Nadu, India, September 1994 – July 2019 and retired as DIRECTOR OF BOILERS, TAMIL NADU.

Professional Achievements

  • Passed in Boiler Operating Engineers Examination, 1992.
  • Passed and got level II Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetrating Testing, Radiography Testing and Ultrasonic Testing in ISNT, Trichy, 2000.
  • Passed and got the certificate in Energy Auditor and Energy Manager Examination conducted by the National Productivity Council, India, 2006.
  • Passed yoga and Astrology for the uplift of mind and approaching peace in the world.
