Electric Mobility Research Lab
Faculty In-charge:
Dr. P. Srinivasa Rao Nayak, Assistant Professor, NIT-T
E- Mobility research lab was established in the year of 2015. The objective of the E- Mobility research lab is to develop state of art technologies for Electric Vehicles (EVs). Its goal to develop a static and dynamic wireless charging for 3- wheeler and 4 - wheeler electric vehicles and to optimize charging and discharging pattern of electric vehicles based on grid demands. Also, development of electric vehicle power train algorithms and power electronics converters for electric vehicles are carried out. Research scholars and students are working in various field of E-mobility.
- A sponsored project titled “Implementation and analysis of coupled coils at different structures with misalignments for WPT EV battery charging ‘’ by Govt. SERB-DST worth of Rs.28.40 Lakhs is carried out.
- A sponsored project titled “A 10 KW Pilot PV plant Based on Single Axis Solar Tracking System Using Second Level Principle”, by Govt. SERB-DST worth of Rs.42.30 Lakhs is in progress.
