Dr. S.Yogeshwari

Dr. S. Yogeshwari is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics in 2014 from the Institute for Social and Economic Change, affiliated with the University of Mysore, Karnataka. Her doctoral research explored the complex relationship between Agrarian Change and the Functioning of Credit Markets in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Dr.Yogeshwari's research interests span Agricultural Economics, Urban Economics, Environmental Economics, Public Finance, and Developmental Economics. She has published her work in esteemed academic journals and contributed book chapters to books by internationally recognized publishers. Additionally, She has presented her research at prominent national and international conferences. To further her expertise, She has actively participated in various workshops and training programs aimed at enhancing her professional and research skills. Her teaching philosophy centers on fostering curiosity and encouraging a questioning mindset, with the aim of making learning a transformative and inquisitive experience for students.
