About TIMA
TIMA is a forum constituted by Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI) Chennai, Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Chennai, Instrument Society of India (ISOI) and The Instrumentation Systems & Automation Society (ISA), South India Section. The main objective of TIMA since its inception in 1996,is to organize International Conference, to provide a platform for academicians, professionals & industrialists in the areas of Measurement and Instrumentation, Control and Process control, MEMS and Nanotechnology, Real time systems and Automation.
The 5th International Conference on Trends in Industrial Measurements and Automation TIMA2007 organized by National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
TIMA2007 received more than 130 papers of which 66 were accepted. These papers will be presented in five sessions in two parallel tracks.
The conference and tutorial have attracted a large number of scientists, research scholars and educators from India.
Two pre-conference one day tutorials were conducted on
NANO-, NEURO-, BIO- & INFO- TECHNOLOGIES, MEMS, NEMS AND NUEROSURGERY and EMBEDDED SYSTEMS ON CHIP by Prof Vijay.K.Varadan University of Arkansas and Dr.C.P.Ravikumar, Texas Instruments, India
