The Biomedical Engineering Laboratory has been established in our department that is designed to carry out research in the field of biomedical science. This allows the researchers to create their own studies and apply the knowledge they have gained to real world situations. This type of lab is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments and equipment that are specifically designed for biomedical research. The main goal is to conduct scientific research that can be used in medical science to diagnose and treat medical conditions more effectively, ultimately improving human health.  Researchers develop hardware and algorithms to make measurements from living systems such as ECG, EMG, EEG, etc. as well as interpret and classify these biological signals.
