Academic Details
Prof. S.Natarajan has been serving the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli since 1978 in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. His academic background is with M.Sc. Chemistry (Madras University) and Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engg (under inter - disciplinary norms), (REC,Trichy / now NIT). His Doctoral thesis relates to weldment corrosion and its control in power plant materials.
Research Interests
Corrosion Engg, Surface Engg, Tribology and allied areas pertinent to Agriculture, Aerospace, Automobile, Mining, Power, Petrochemical, Process, and Textile industries.
