Honors and awards

• Awarded German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Fellowship between June 2004 to September 2006 to do research at ISAF, Technical University of Clausthal, Germany.
• Awarded 3rd Best Student Paper for a presentation made in an International Congress on Applications of Lasers and Electro-Optics (ICALEO) held between 31st October to 3rd November 2005 in Miami, Florida, USA.
• Awarded Young Scientist by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India for a fast track project.
