CEDI PRE-ADMISSION RESPONSE SHEET FOR INCUBATION
CEDI under the aegis of TIDE Scheme of Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India offers Incubation facility along with financial and mentoring support to entrepreneurs with potential for commercializing innovative ideas in the areas of ICT (CSE/IT) and Electronics.
Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation (CEDI), is set up under the aegis of Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India to promote innovation and entrepreneurship by converting and translating technology ideas in various disciplines of science and engineering into products, processes and services for commercial exploitation and the benefit of society. To accomplish its goal, CEDI would facilitate incubation of new enterprises with innovative technologies by providing them Business Incubation support with financial, physical, technical and networking supports and services.
Proposed Activities under CEDI:
The centre will identify entrepreneurs for funding through the proposed TIDE scheme. All the necessary mentoring and support for mobilizing funds, creating access to markets, augmenting managerial skills etc., will be provided by the centre.

(a) Do you have a proposal for incubating your business idea?
Proposals are invited from potential entrepreneurs to incubate their business ventures with CEDI. Applications received on or before 28th, January, 2013 will be considered in the first round. (For details click here).
(b) Do you want to attend an Entrepreneurship Development Programme towards preparation to become an Entrepreneur?
Applications are also invited for attending Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) which would aid in preparing proposals for incubation.
The programme covers areas such as opportunities and challenges in the ICT industry, Entrepreneurial fundamentals, management concepts, visits to some innovative business units, experience sharing by successful entrepreneurs (For details click here).
