Admission Procedure

Admission for the M.Tech. programmes in Chemical Engineering and Process Control & Instrumentation is through GATE examination. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.

Candidates with valid GATE score have to undergo the Centralized Counseling for M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. admissions (CCMT) 2018 which is an on-line admission process for all National Institutes of Technologies (NITs) and several other institutes for admission into NIT Tiruchirappalli.
