2. GRAPHICS STANDARDS (8)
application of solid models Graphic standards - GKS - DXF and IGES standards - Parametric design programmes.

3. Finite element analysis and database (8)
types of analysis - assembly procedure - Design of database - concepts - SQL. CFD.

4. Computer aided manufacturing and process monitoring (8)
control - modeling - analysis.

5. Systems for manufacturing support (8)
production systems at the operation level - cutting conditions optimization - production planning - capacity planning
