Industrial Automation Laboratory
Associated Prof.: Dr. K. Srinivasan
The Industrial Automation Laboratory is established under the DST- FIST Programme in the year 2010. The lab offers practical knowledge and skill upgradation for PG and research scholars on par with Industrial standard. This lab is mainly focussed on PC-based data acquisition, continuous control of various industrial process trainers using industrial Yokogawa Centum DCS. Apart from this lab consists of different simulation tools such as MATLAB, Network simulator and CIROS software. The state-of-the-art tools and equipments is to help research scholar and Post graduate students to understand and apply concepts in human-machine interface (HMI) systems, design and optimize control systems for different process applications in networked environment.
